We here at Victory By Faith Ministries are looking forward to the coming year with great excitement and anticipation. We are expecting to see more manifestations, more salvations, more healings, more deliverances, more filled with the Spirit etc. this year than in the past. We are seeking exactly how we are to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to receive these manifestations. I believe that the revelation I have received so far is that our part in the equation is more prayer, praise, and worship. Years ago I heard Pastor Buddy Harrison teach when opportunity and preparation come together "luck" happens. I have heard Kenneth Hagin say many times the good things of God are not gonna fall on you like ripe cherries off of a tree. John Wesley said ." It seems God can do nothing on earth unless we pray." I heard a story once about a conference on welfare, I think in Chicago, where the lead off speaker addressing the problem of third and fourth generations of welfare recipients where welfare was becoming a lifestyle rather than a temporary helping hand. This prominent black professional educator said, " I don't know all the answers but I know this- If we always do what we've always done we'll always have what we've always had." How simply profound. If we expect a different outcome we have to start with a different input!

How timely I found the teaching excerpt in the January Word of Faith from the book, Plans purposes and pursuits, on true worship. I am convinced that if we continue to pray, praise, and worship in 2004 as we did in 2003 we will see the same manifestations! In 1st Thessalonians Paul says I pray that ye increase More and more. I believe he means more in quality as well as more in quantity. That must be our focus and goal in 2004 to increase in prayer, Praise, and worship more in both quality and quantity. " the eyes of the lord run to and fro over the whole earth to show himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him."

God wants to bless, Lets cooperate; lets believe; Let's forget those things which are behind and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus our lord.

Find a good believing, loving church, be faithful, be hungry, seek god with all your heart and you won't be disappointed.
