Why YOU have what YOU say

Mark 11:23 " Verily I say unto you whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe those things which he saith shall come to pass He shall have whatsoever he saith."

Notice Jesus said he will have what he (not God) says. Now we understand that "the earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof" and God is omnipotent (all powerful) omniscient (all knowing) and omnipresent ( all present) but lets look at some scripture that deals with authority. Genesis 2:15 "And the Lord God took the man (Adam) and put him in the garden to dress and to keep it." So the earth belongs to God but he gives "power of attorney" to mankind Adam and Eve. With one restriction; and man is responsible to keep or to guard the earth. Thus God gave Adam power of attorney over earth. Power of attorney gives the legal right to use another's possessions however one pleases. So you could say God made Adam the "god" of this world (earth) notice in verse 19 God brought the animals to see what he (Adam) would call them. So what Adam says goes. Then in chapter 3 verse 6 Adam commits high treason disobeys the one command and turns over control of earth to satan. Second Corinthians 4:4 calls him the "god of this world" satan was never the god of anything till he gained Adams dominion in the garden then he became god of this world. look at Luke 4:5-7 " And the devil taking him (Jesus) up into a high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them, for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine." Now two points I want to make. Who delivered this power or authority to him? Certainly not God; when he tried to take power in heaven God cast him out like lighting. Second , for this to be a real or bonified "temptation" he would have to be able to give this power. So Adam had this power or authority and he (Adam) delivered it to satan in the garden. Now the Bible says that in the fullness of time God sent his Son (Jesus) and in Luke 19:10 Jesus said " For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." referring to SALVATION coming to the house of Zacchaeus; salvation meaning, Wholeness, completeness, nothing broken, nothing lost. I realize Jesus did come to seek and to save lost mankind but you would not refer to people as "that". This along with other versus such as Matthew 28:18 " All power is given unto me..." show us that through the substitutionary death and resurrection of Jesus He (Jesus) regained the "godship" of this earth or the authority of Adam and He has restored that authority to His body the CHURCH. So at this moment in time we have dual kingdoms in operation on earth. The kingdom of darkness where satan still rules and the kingdom of His dear Son. The Bible declares when we repent and confess Jesus as our Lord we become a new creation, and we are delivered from the kingdom of darkness, and translated into the kingdom of His dear son. Colossians 1:13. While in this world, we are not of this world. We are ambassadors for Christ. So by faith (believing Gods Word) we believe and therefore speak. And as father Abraham was like unto God which calleth things that be not as though they were. We the seed of Abraham take the authority of the name of Jesus and we resist the devil with belief in our heart and the words of our mouth as Proverbs states, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." Proverbs 18:21 Now it is obvious that God is not controlling the earth. When Jesus and his disciples were crossing the sea a mighty storm arose and Jesus rebuked it. It obviously was not from God because Jesus would never rebuke God! Jesus worked WITH God not against Him! Acts 10:38 says "How God anointed Jesus of Nazereth with the Holy Ghost and power who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him." Storms, Plagues, Sickness, Poverty, Disease, Earthquakes, Famines, Pestilence, etc, etc, are not "acts of God" but rather acts of satan and are to be resisted, rebuked, and overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Yours In Him, Jim
