Those who say they can and those who say they can't are both right!
Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you , That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Jesus said whoever believes and says will have what he says. This is the law or principle of Faith. The first example of this law in action is in Geneses 1:3- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. verse 9,11,14,20 24,26,29, And God said and it was so. Well sure preacher that's God: of course He gets what He says, but I'm not God. Let's look at another example. (read Numbers chapters 13 & 14) in Vs. 27, Ten of the twelve spies bring back a report that the giants in the land are too big to fight. Vs. 30 Caleb says we CAN overcome them Vs. 6 thru 9 Joshua and Caleb try to convince the people that with Gods help they CAN posses it. The majority report of the ten is accepted by the people and notice Vs. 28 ...as truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: (read Deuteronomy 1:19-46) then notice in Joshua 14:6-15 we see Joshua and Caleb the only two survivors from the Numbers 13 incident and Caleb says I'm 85 years old now and I want the mountain of the giants and I CAN take it and bless God he did! Those who say they can and those who say they can't are both right. In 1st. Samuel 17 we find the armies of Israel at a standstill for forty days because of fear of the 9ft.9in. tall champion of the Philistines named Goliath notice Vs.45 & 46 David believes his God will help him and says what he plans to do; then went out and did exactly what he said he would! The difference between David and Saul and ALL the rest of the soldiers in Israels army was they ALL believed and said the Giant was too big to defeat in a fight . David believed and said the Giant as too big to MISS!! Praise God In Romans 4:16-25 Vs. 17 says in the margin of a good reference Bible next to before it says "like unto" so it says Abraham was like God and called things that be not as though they were. So by study of Abraham we find he is named Abram and God says he will be Abraham (father of many nations) so while old, childless, and with a barren wife he from that day forth SAYS I AM Abraham ( Father Of Many Nations) the Bible says he believed God and said he is father of many nations and so it came to pass! Look briefly at Genesis 11:1-9 The most astounding story I have ever read. Vs. 3 "they said one to another" Vs. 4 "they said" and look what God said Vs. 6 nothing will be restrained from them that they have imagined to do. God said if they can talk it one to another they can do anything they can imagine!!! AWESOME!!! Remember in the early 1960s President John F Kennedy said in a national speech that the U.S.A. would send a man to walk on the surface of the moon and return him safely to earth by the end of the decade? It put the scientific community into total shock. You know what?? We did it! Those who say they can and those who say they can't are both right. Closer to home I believe we all know a friend or relative who every year upon the announcement that flu season has arrived goes around constantly saying "well it's flu season again and I'm sure I'll get it. I take the shots and do everything I can to keep from getting it but I get it every year and I guess I'll get it again this year." and they get it too don't they? I am convinced people have believed and confessed themselves into the grave by this law. Beloved, find out who and what the Word of God says you are, and what you have, especially the New Testament Epistles. Believe you are what the Word says you are and you have what the Word says you have and begin to SAY that and refuse to say anything contrary to that. You are today what you believed and said in the past. If you are not satisfied with where and what you are change your believing and talking and it will change your life.
